After graduate school, Rebecca began a career with Medtronic, the world’s leading manufacturer of implantable cardiac devices. At Medtronic, Rebecca made a name for herself as an expert on quality of life issues for cardiovascular patients. Rebecca has delivered over 200 presentations to healthcare professionals about promoting quality of life among their patients, as well as strategies for remaining resilient as a healthcare provider in today’s changing landscape . Rebecca has also presented at over 100 device patient support group meetings, educating patients about how to live a fulfilling life after device implant. Rebecca’s approach includes a focus on the role of wellness factors in psychological health. She incorporates a strengths-based and solution-focused approach in working to promote the overall well-being of her clients.
